Lead thieves target Cairncastle church
St Patrick’s, Cairncastle, has been targeted by lead thieves.
Lead thieves have targeted St Patrick’s Parish Church, Cairncastle, stealing lead flashing, and causing significant damage to further flashing, guttering and the lightening rod.
Parishes, particularly those in rural areas, are advised to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity around churches.
