Streetreach team 2019 commissioned!

Congratulations to members of the Connor Streetreach 2019 team who were commissioned at a special service in The Church of the Holy Spirit, Mossley, on Sunday June 16.
The young people were commissioned by Archdeacon George Davison in the presence of family and friends.
Streetreach is a local, missional, residential experience for young people run by Connor Diocese. It offers young people the opportunity to experience a mission within a safe context and with other young people.
This year the team will be made up of around 50 young people and leaders, including a group from the USA.
This is a continuation of a partnership with Christ in Youth, who have joined the Connor youth groups for both Streetreach and Summer Madness for the past two years.
Streetreach provides teaching, training and support to all participants as well as structured opportunities for mission in the context of a parish within Connor Diocese. In 2019 and 2020 Streetreach is partnering with Mossley Parish in Newtownabbey.
Streetreach runs from July 2-5.
