Basil Davidson MBE will be guest speaker at the Divine Healing Ministries service in Belfast Cathedral on Monday November 18 at 8pm.
Basil joined the Northern Ireland Civil Service in 1984 and has held senior positions, including working for the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister, Department of Finance and Personnel, North/South Ministerial Council, Social Security Agency, Northern Ireland Prison Service and the Northern Ireland Office.
During the Troubles, while working for Fraud and Prosecution’s Branch, Basil experienced a life-threatening attack resulting in extensive injuries. In 1999, Basil received the MBE from Her Majesty The Queen for his work in the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
Six years ago, Basil was diagnosed with a stage four head and neck cancer. As this was inoperable, he received extensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Throughout the journey of the cancer treatment, Basil and his family had the prayerful support from many people, including Divine Healing Ministries. Basil’s testimony of forgiveness and healing will inspire and encourage.
Prayer for healing will be available at the service which will respect peoples’ time to allow for prayer ministry.
The following Monday, November 25, at 8pm Diving Healing Ministries welcome Brother David Jardine back to St Anne’s Cathedral as speaker.
Director of Diving Healing Ministries, Fergus McMorrow, said: “It is always a blessing and a joy to have the founder of Divine Healing Ministries to speak and to pray with us. Again, this is a particular opportunity to invite friends and family as the Lord Jesus meets us at our point of need.”
