Artists from London’s West End are to perform in Carnmoney and Coleraine, sharing their faith and using their talents to support the work of Christian relief and development agency Tearfund.
The group, ‘West End Has Faith,’ is embarking on a tour of cities across the UK, performing songs from hit musicals and sharing transformational stories of Tearfund’s work.
Regaling audiences with hits from favourite musicals like Les Misérables, The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera, ‘West End Has Faith’ will be at Coleraine’s Causeway Coast Vineyard Church on Friday March 13 and Carnmoney Presbyterian Church in Newtownabbey on March 14.
Promising a fun and inspiring evening, the performers will also share about what life is like as a Christian in their industry – facing regular rejection, often working gruelling and isolating schedules.
The aim of the tour is to raise support for Tearfund’s work with communities around the world. It is also visiting Scotland, Wales and England.
Ruth Koch, Tearfund’s NI Director, said: “It is an absolute joy to work with our friends at ‘West End Has Faith’ again this year. We look forward to folk in Coleraine and Belfast being able to hear powerful and moving songs from talented singers and share stories of Tearfund’s work. A night to be remembered.”
