The ‘Biggest Indoor Easter Egg Hunt in Belfast’ is back!

Thursday March 12th 2020

The Easter Tuesday Egg Hunt takes place inside Belfast Cathedral.

The ‘Biggest Indoor Easter Egg Hunt in Belfast’ is back on Easter Tuesday, April 14, between 11am-3pm.

In the build-up to the popular children’s event, the Dean of Belfast, the Very Rev Stephen Forde, will be sneaking around the Nave, side chapels and even the Baptistry looking for new places to hide Easter Eggs!

Everyone is invited to call in on Easter Tuesday so children (and grown-ups!) can explore all the Cathedral’s nooks and crannies in the search for those hidden eggs.

There will also be an Easter trail to follow through the Cathedral, uncovering more about this beautiful building, and a variety of arts and crafts to take part in after completing the trail. Belfast Cathedral has expressed its gratitude to the Diocese of Connor Children’s Project Development Officer Jill Hamilton and the Connor Children’s Council for providing the crafts and helping to make this event EGG-stra special.

Entry is just £3 per child with a prize for all successful egg hunters. Adults will be free to look around this beautiful building or relax with a cuppa while the young ones get stuck into the serious task of egg hunting.

Treats are provided by @destinationCQ and @cqbelfast…
