A dip into the archives – Diocesan Pilgrimage 2011
In late March 2011, a group of 80 pilgrims from parishes right across Connor Diocese joined Bishop Alan Abernethy and his wife Liz for a wonderful pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
The pilgrimage, based in Jerusalem and Tiberias on the shores of the Sea of Gallilee, was led by the Rev Canon John Mann, then rector of St John’s, Malone and now based in Dorset; and the Rev Jonathan Carmyllie, who stepped in for the Rev Canon David Humphries who was unwell.
It was a wonderful experience for all involved, as our pilgrimage gallery shows. If you were on the pilgrimage, we invite you to enjoy the memories.
