The Rev Dr Andrew Campbell, rector of Skerry, Rathcavan and Newtowncrommelin (Broughshane), has had an article published in the European Journal of Theology (EJT).

This is a peer-review journal published by Paternoster Press and the Fellowship of European Evangelical Theologians, of which Andrew is a member.

Andrew said: “In 2009 I wrote my MTh thesis and was introduced to the European Journal of Theology through the articles of Henri Blocher – particularly ‘The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ: The Current Theological Situation’ (1999).

“Since then it has been an aspiration of mine to get something published in EJT.”

The current issue of the European Journal of Theology arrived with Andrew in the post on Monday.

“The article is a summary of some of the aspects of my PhD thesis, arguing for engagement with early 20th-century theologian Peter Taylor Forsyth within current debates around atonement theology,” he explains.
