Streetreach Online open for applications
The Engage Connor Youth team has been busy planning Streetreach Online and applications are now open.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the annual youth mission which had been due to take place in Mossley Parish at the start of July had to be cancelled, but Connor Youth Council members were enthusiastic about providing an online alternative for young people across the diocese.
Streetreach Online will be available to all young people, from those who have finished Year 8 and up. It will be free to take part.
During the event, there will be daily videos shared on Engage Connor Youth Facebook and Instagram, as well as outreach activities for young people and an opportunity to connect each evening with others.
As Streetreach was meant to take place in partnership with Mossley Parish, there will be a focus on prayer for the parish, but also an encouragement for participants to serve and live missionally in their own communities.
Diocesan Youth Officer Christina Baillie said any young people across the diocese are welcome to take part, even if they have not come come along to Streetreach before.
