The summer issue of the diocesan magazine Connor Connections is now available online in ePaper format.

READ CONNOR CONNECTIONS

Normally, the magazine, which is published three times a year, is distributed free to all parishioners via our churches, but with church buildings mostly closed, the decision was taken to share Connor Connections online only.

The front cover captures an uplifting side of the impact of this coronavirus pandemic, with Ballymoney parishioner Alicia Duncan entertaining her neighbours to a Sunday afternoon singalong in her garden.

Special features include an interview with WW2 veteran Bill Eames, who recalls life during and after the war; a look at how lockdown is affecting those living on Rathlin Island; Kathleen Brown, who this month celebrates the 30th anniversary of the ordination as one of the first Anglican women priests in Europe; and an interview with Bishop-designate George Davison.

We have a six-page special feature giving a snapshot into how Covid-19 has impacted the Church in Connor Diocese and what parishes in our three archdeaconries are doing to keep ministry not only alive, but thriving, during this time.

There are articles on youth and children’s ministry, mission and news from around the diocese.

You can also download the magazine in pdf format. Enjoy the read.
