Funding opportunities for parishes
A number of funding opportunities are currently available for charities / faith based organisations.
The Covid Charity Fund, from Community Finance Ireland, is to support organisations with unavoidable costs during the coronavirus pandemic. The fund opened on January 6 and will remain open until January 22.
The Dormant Accounts Fund, delivered by the Community Fund, opened on January 12. It aims to support the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to be more resilient and prepared for the future by funding activity that increases capacity and sustainability.
The National Churches Trust’s Treasure Ireland grants programme is currently active, offering grants up to £10,000 for church maintenance and urgent repair costs. The deadline for applications is January 25.
