‘A light on the hill’ – CPAS launches new resources

Friday February 19th 2021

CPAS has launched a range of free resources to support church leaders as they lead their congregations and communities through the recovery phase of the pandemic.

In a statement, the organisation said: “Over the coming months, it is likely we will enter what is being called the ‘recovery’ phase of the pandemic. In the midst of all the challenges, it presents the Church with a great opportunity to help people process their experience of the pandemic, to be a light on the hill.

“To help church leaders lead their congregations and communities through this recovery phase, CPAS has launched a wide range of new resources, related to our latest webinar, where we explored why this is a great opportunity, when it is likely to happen, and how to lead well through this time.”

The resources include:

  • Guides to distribute to congregations and community to help people process their experience of the pandemic; for families, adults and young people.
  • A service outline for helping people remember, reflect and recuperate.
  • An outline for a 40-minute Zoom event.
  • A guide to using church premises (when we can) as a place of recovery for anyone and everyone.
  • A recording of a talk for church leaders from the Leading Through the Recovery Phase webinar.

The resources are available at www.cpas.org.uk/recoveryphase.
