Church leaders lead NI Centenary broadcast

The members of the Church Leaders’ Group (Ireland) will lead a service broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Ulster this Sunday morning, May 2, to mark the centenary of the partition of the island of Ireland and the formation of Northern Ireland.

The Radio 4 Sunday Worship service will begin at 8.10am and the Radio Ulster Morning Service will run from 10.15am. The programme will be available afterwards on the Sunday Worship and Morning Service websites.

  • The Church Leaders Group comprises the Church of Ireland and Roman Catholic Primates of All Ireland, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, the President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, and the President of the Irish Council of Churches.
