Facilitating pastoral care for young people
Engage Connor Youth has developed a new resource for youth leaders to support them in engaging pastorally with young people.
The resource contains a range of reflective questions which seek to help young people share their experience during the Covid-19 pandemic – both the positive elements and the difficult moments.
Diocesan Youth Officer Christina Baillie said: “Creating spaces for young people to have conversations that allow them to process and share together is really important in this season.”
Thanks to the kindness of Summer Madness, and most notably Stephen Bridgett, the questions have been collated on a website (CLICK HERE) to make it accessible. Leaders can access the website and even save it as an icon on their phone’s home screen. During a session, leaders can access the website and click through the questions in random order.
“We believe this is a great tool to help leaders have significant conversations with young people in an informal setting,” Christina said.
