Monthly prayer walk resumes in north Belfast

Thursday June 10th 2021

The easing of restrictions means the monthly North Belfast Prayer Walk – suspended for many months due to Covid-19 – was able to resume on Monday June 7.

Representatives of local Church of Ireland, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist and non-denominational churches met at Shankill Methodist carpark in Berlin Street before walking and praying around the area.

The prayer walks are co-ordinated by Stephen Whitten, Church Army Evangelist at Connor’s North Belfast Centre of Mission, Connect Base.
