Applications open for Black Santa 2021 funding
Applications for grants from the 45th Black Santa Sit-Out, which will take place on the steps of Belfast Cathedral in the days before Christmas, are now open.
The tradition was started in 1976 by Dean Sammy Crooks, and has been continued each year by successive deans, with the Very Rev Stephen Forde preparing for this year’s event. Read more about the HISTORY OF BLACK SANTA.
This year, the Dean especially welcomes applications from registered charities working directly with refugee communities settling in Northern Ireland and people with disabilities.
You can download an application form on the Belfast Cathedral website, and closing date for applications is Friday November 26 2021.
