Retired hospital chaplain scores high in Mastermind

The Rev Allister Mallon, retired hospital chaplain, Connor Diocese, scored impressively in his challenge for the BBC’s Mastermind title, coming out on top in his first round in the prestigious competition.

Allister now progresses to one of six semi-finals when he will once again face the questions from presenter Clive Myrie.

In his first round specialist subject, James Craig, First Viscount Craigavon, Allister got full points, going on to win the round after the general knowledge questions with a total of 22 points.
