Due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and to ensure everyone is safe, January’s Connor Takes the Castle (CTTC) event for young people will look a little different.
Originally planned as a residential weekend at Castlewellan Castle, running from January 14-16, the event will now take place in a single day – January 15 – at a new venue, Shane’s Castle, Randalstown. Yes – Connor Takes the Castle still works!
Diocesan Youth Officer Christina Baillie said the CTTC Day will run from 11am-3pm, and is open to all young people aged 11-18. Children in Primary Seven are also invited.
Fee for the day is £5, which can be paid on arrival, and this covers all activities, hot lunch, hot drinks and snacks.
The fun takes place at Escarmouche Adventure Centre in Shane’s Castle and will include activities ranging from laser tag to maze games and connect 4 basketball!
A warm welcome is issued to all young people in the diocese. Parents can sign up their young people HERE.
Leaders are requested to contact Christina Baillie on christinabaillie@connordiocese.org directly to sign up.
