In the lead-up to Holy Week, the Kids’ Club had a great afternoon with Beavers and Squirrels learning the story of Holy Week and Easter through art and crafts.
The young people created palm branches for Palm Sunday, made a fingerprint painted cross for the noticeboard, decorated some eggs and made some brilliant Easter gardens.
On Palm Sunday, Ryan, Max and Lily helped parishioners to walk through the story of Holy Week at the morning Family service.
And on Easter Day, St Mark’s was blessed with a lovely morning weather-wise for the parish’s first ever sunrise service in the church grounds.
