Benches dedicated at St John’s, Islandmagee
The Rev Canon Mark Taylor dedicates the benches in the grounds of St John’s, Islandmagee.
Five new benches were dedicated in the grounds of St John’s Parish Church, Islandmagee, as part of the Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday October 16.
The benches had been generously purchased by parishioners in memory of family members, and were dedicated by the rector, the Rev Canon Mark Taylor.
The benches will encourage people to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful old church, which dates to 1595, and its surroundings overlooking Larne Lough.
Visitors are warmly welcomed at anytime.
