Online training in areas of suicide and mental health
The Church of Ireland’s MindMatters team is highlighting Flourish, an initiative on suicide developed by the mental health charity Lighthouse Ireland, the Churches’ Community Work Alliance (Northern Ireland), and clergy from across the churches.
Flourish offers an online training session which aims to explore the relationship between the theological understanding of suicide and mental health and how it translates into pastoral action.
The next training session will take place on Thursday November 10, with session one starting at 10.30am. Session two will commence after lunch at 12.30pm and finish at 2pm.
The training is open to all clergy, church workers, volunteers, and faith-based organisations across Ireland.
