The Rev Andy Heber, Carnmoney Parish (second from left at back); the Rev Wes Sutton, Director of the Acorn Christian Healing Foundation (third from left at back); and the Rev Brian Lacey, St Peter’s Parish, front right, with those who are taking part in Prayer Ministry Training.

Carnmoney Parish Church and St Peter’s Parish Church, Antrim Road, Belfast, have come together to set up healing hubs at both churches.

The Rev Andy Heber, vicar of Carnmoney, said: “The idea is that we can offer prayer ministry both in church services but also other settings as well, for example following our community group meetings, in coffee shops etc, depending upon the vision of each church.

“We are being trained online on the first Saturday morning of each month for a year by the Acorn Christian Healing Foundation.”

The online training began in September 2022, and on Saturday January 28, the Rev Wes Sutton, Director of the Acorn Christian Healing Foundation, visited from England to do some in-person Prayer Ministry training.
