Summer ‘Connor Connections’ out now!
The summer issue of our diocesan magazine Connor Connections is available in a parish church near you!
This issue includes a host of news and features, and the striking cover image was taken by Bishop George Davison at Tabgha on the shores of the Sea of Galilee during his recent pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The Bishop speaks of the pilgrimage in his message in Connor Connections.
Other stories include interviews with Jack Wilson, Belfast Cathedral’s new Master of Music; and Joyce and John Bond on their Maundy Thursday visit to York Minster.
Coronation stories include reports from Johnny Conn on the Westminster Abbey Coronation Service at which he was a guest and reflections from Simon Neil, Director of Music at St Polycarp’s and Trevor Douglas, Belfast Cathedral General Manager, on the pre-Coronation Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. There is also a photo spread featuring Coronation celebrations around the diocese – you might spot some familiar faces!
There is all the latest clergy news, including a report on the Maundy Thursday renewal of vows by clergy and lay readers at Belfast Cathedral.
On the mission front, you can read about Christ Church, Lisburn’s, visit to St Apollo School in Uganda.
