Foodbank partnership celebrated at St Katharine’s

Some of those who attended the Sing Harvest Service in St Katharine’s.

To mark the 10th year of the parish’s support for the North Belfast Foodbank (Trussell Trust), St Katharine’s, Belfast, held a very special Sing Harvest Service on October 8.

The rector, the Rev Canon William Taggart, said: “We are one of the founding members of the group which supports the work of the local FoodBank on a regular basis. The church was decorated for the occasion and our window ledges groaned with the amount of tinned and dried items.”

Speaker at the service was Mr Jeff Cousins, a volunteer from the local FoodBank.
