Children and families from across the diocese had a fantastic weekend at the Big Bethlehem Pantomime in Ballyclare Parish! [See our Photo Gallery below].
The event took place over two days, with P4 and P4 pupils from Ballyclare Primary School enjoying the activities on Friday November 24 and groups from 10 parishes across Connor coming along on the Saturday.
Connor Children’s Ministry Development Officer Victoria Jackson said: “We were delighted to host six classes from Ballyclare Primary on Friday and around 150 people on Saturday, representing more than 10 parishes from the diocese!
“The atmosphere was full of Christmas joy and excitement as Play it By Ear Drama performed their Pantomime show, and families enjoyed the petting farm, Christmas crafts, dress-up photo booth and coffee stop!”
Victoria went on: “It was a lovely way to start the festive season and we were so pleased by the support for the event from throughout the diocese, thank you to everyone who came along!
“A big thank you to St John’s for being brilliant hosts, to all of the wonderful volunteers from the Parish, to Karen and Ste from Church Army and Emily from St Michael’s for helping with the event! It wouldn’t have been possible without them!
