Antrim Rural Deanery clergy say goodbye to Canon Derek
Clergy from Antrim Rural Deanery.
The clergy of Antrim Rural Deanery met last week over lunch to say farewell to their Rural Dean, the Rev Canon Derek Kerr.
Derek, who has graced this website and the pages of Connor Connections on many occasions – due in part to his passion for all things Royal and for Winnie the Pooh – has been vicar of Drummaul, Duneane and Ballyscullion since 2007.
He is leaving Connor Diocese to begin a new chapter in his ministry in the Parishes of Tynan, Aghavilly and Middletown in the Diocese of Armagh.
Derek’s Service of Institution will take place on Shrove Tuesday February 13.
