Diocesan Office says farewell to Garvin
Garvin Jess is moving from Diocesan Office where he worked as receptionist with clerical duties to take up the post of Office Manager at Belfast Cathedral.
Last Thursday, Diocesan Office said farewell to Garvin Jess, who has been the friendly face at our reception desk for the past two and a half years.
Garvin is moving to Belfast Cathedral where he will take up the post of Office Manager. He has worked as full-time receptionist with clerical duties at Church House since joining us in Donegall Street in November 2021 and moving with the dioceses to Channel Wharf.
Garvin said: “While I am excited to begin my new role with St Anne’s Cathedral, it is bittersweet saying goodbye to such a great team at the diocesan office who have been so welcoming and helpful to me since I started here.
“But I am looking forward to a fresh challenge, to meeting and working alongside new people, and to hopefully, quickly, becoming a support and enabler to them in their valuable work.”
We thank Garvin for his friendship and service and wish him all the best in his new role.
