First Things is a purposeful gathering of evangelicals in the Church of Ireland taking place on Saturday April 27 in St John’s Parish Centre, Moira.
It will be a day dedicated to teaching and renewing our faith and is specifically designed for those from the Church of Ireland who are passionate about the Gospel, disciple–making, and deepening in biblical truth. It will offer an opportunity to connect with like–minded individuals, forge new visions for growth, and inspire the next generation of evangelical leaders.
The conference is open to clergy and church leaders and to all church members who wish to participate in this vision–renewing experience.
The conference is privileged to welcome Archbishop Justin Badi and Canon John McGinley as keynote speakers.
Archbishop Justin, serving as the Primate of South Sudan and a pivotal figure in the Global South Fellowship of Anglican Churches, will inaugurate the sessions with a bible reading and discuss the core principles of evangelism within the Anglican tradition.
Canon John McGinley, who spearheads the ambitious Myriad initiative aimed at planting 10,000 new churches, will delve into the vital role evangelicals play in the Anglican church and propose a revitalised approach to engage both current and future generations.
