Castle visit for Trevor for BEM presentation

Diocesan Development Manager Trevor Douglas visited Hillsborough Castle on Tuesday April 16 where he was presented with a British Empire Medal (BEM).

This was awarded by King Charles III in his 2024 New Year Honours’ List for services to peacebuilding and to the community in Northern Ireland.

Trevor, who is also General Manager of Belfast Cathedral, has worked for Connor Diocese for the past 10 years, and prior to that was manager of the Jethro Centre in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

He is married to Karen, and they have two daughters, Laura and Joy. Joy and her husband James Stafford accompanied Trevor and Karen to the Castle where Trevor received his medal from the Earl of Caledon, who is Lord Lieutenant for Co Armagh.

The Earl of Caledon, who is Lord Lieutenant for Co Armagh, presented the BEM to Connor Diocesan Development Manager Trevor Douglas.
