Pastoring as a paramedic

Tuesday June 4th 2024

The Rev Andy Moore, curate in the Parish of Ballymena and Ballyclug, combines his full-time parish ministry with working each month as a paramedic – a job he has done both prior to and since his ordination in 2021.

In this video interview, as part of the Church of Ireland’s Inspiring angles podcast series, Andy, who has recently been appointed Chair of the Christian Ambulance Association, talks about the motivation for joining the Ambulance Service, and how both ministry opportunities have come together to serve his community.

The video is now up online on the Church of Ireland’s Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Vimeo channels – @churchofireland.
