Belfast Cathedral popular Pets’ Service returns to St Anne’s on Sunday September 22 at 3.30pm.
All pets, along with well behaved owners, are welcome to join in this wonderful service celebrating all creatures great and small.
The service is held close to St Francis of Assisi Day (celebrated on October 4), and there will be a blessing for all interested pets at the end of the service.
Dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots, snakes and every animal that attends, along with their human friends, will enjoy a pet-friendly service.
The Pets’ Service was last held at Belfast Cathedral in 2020 when, due to Covid-19 restrictions, all pets had to be blessed on the steps outdoors.
The Cathedral is looking forward to raising the woof of the Nave once again to give thanks for and bless those animals who serve as our companions.
