Staff at Diocesan Office have said a sad farewell to Christina Baillie, who has served as Diocesan Youth Officer for the past nine years.
Christina moved to a new position as Project Development Lead with Youth for Christ at the end of summer but was able to join her former Connor colleagues for coffee and buns on Monday September 23.
The Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev George Davison, thanked Christina for her work in and for the diocese. “We are very thankful for all that you have given in the role of youth officer in Connor Diocese over the past nine years, and thankful for the things you have done and set up. You have built a real legacy for us in this diocese,” the Bishop said. He wished Christina all the best in her new position.
Bishop’s PA Lorraine Ogilby presented Christina with a gift from all her colleagues.
Christina said she had had an ‘incredible’ last nine years, adding: “It has been an absolute privilege.”
