Alison Skillen has been elected the next Diocesan President of Connor Mothers’ Union.
Alison will take up her new role on January 1 2025, and will serve through the upcoming Triennium (2025-2027) with the full support and consent of the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev George Davison.
Alison, who is married to the Rev Clifford Skillen, is well-prepared for this role, bringing a wealth of experience from her longstanding commitment to the Mothers’ Union.
Her extensive service includes leadership roles in her local branch, significant contributions within Connor Diocese, and active participation at All-Ireland level.
A post announcing the new President-Elect on Connor Mothers’ Union’s social media states: “On behalf of all the Mothers’ Union members in Connor Diocese, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and offer prayers for God’s abundant blessings upon Alison as she embarks on this important leadership journey within the Mothers’ Union.”
