Families follow the journey to the empty tomb
Enjoying a story as part of the Easter trail organised by Connor Children’s Council in St Stephen’s, Belfast, on April 12.
There was a great turn-out for Connor Children’s Council’s ‘Journey to the Empty Tomb’ event for children and families.
This was held in St Stephen’s, Belfast, on Saturday April 12 from 4-6pm, and gave Sunday Schools and families the opportunity to explore the Easter Story in a new way.
Around 100 children and adults from several different parishes enjoyed a series of activities, which together shared the story of Jesus’ journey to the cross and the miracle of his resurrection.
There were great sensory activities, crafts and storytelling, along with a time of kids’ praise and a free barbecue which was enjoyed by all.
