Connor Council for Mission organised an online event held on May 21 with guest speaker Nathaniel Jennings, OMF UK and Ireland’s Intercultural Ministries Director.
Nathaniel’s ministry focuses on encouraging and equipping churches to share the good news of Jesus with people of all backgrounds and cultures, and to grow as Christ-centre communities of intercultural worship and witness.
He was speaking on the theme: ‘How can ICC Ireland serve Churches in Growing as Communities of Intercultural Worship and Witness?’
He was joined on the webinar by Archdeacon Paul Dundas, chair of Connor Council for Mission, and Johanne Martin, a member of the Council for Mission.
Nathaniel Jennings is of Anglo/Caribbean/American heritage but was born and spent his childhood in Bangladesh. After completing a Masters in Contextual Missiology through Queen’s University Belfast, he returned to Bangladesh to be involve in social development and welfare work with SIM. Since 2011 Nathaniel has lived in Belfast and is currently OMF UK and Ireland’s Intercultural Ministries Director.
