Teens and leaders prepare for Summer Madness

As Summer Madness approaches, preparations are underway to welcome teens and leaders from across the diocese at the Connor Sub-camp at the Portglenone site from June 27-July 1.

The Connor sub-camp is where groups will eat meals together, have a space to relax and recharge (both bodies and phones) and have fun together.

Dave Armstrong, Diocesan Youth Officer, said: “This year at sub-camp, as well as providing catering for youth groups, we are planning on running some games that groups can enjoy. But our main goal is to make the sub-camp a place where meaningful discipleship can take place as leaders help their young people respond to what they hear throughout the festival.”

The annual ‘Bishop’s BBQ’ will once again take place on Sunday June 29 around 5.30pm.
