Class of 86-89 celebrate ordination anniversary

Some members of the class of 1986-1989 in the then Church of Ireland Theological College recently came together to mark the 35th anniversary of their ordination to the priesthood.

Following a service of Holy Communion – celebrated by one of the class, the Rt Rev Ian Ellis – in Kiltermon Parish Church, Fivemiletown, the group along with some of their spouses enjoyed a meal in the nearby Valley Hotel.

Some travelled from Cork, Dublin and Donegal especially for the day and all agreed that the occasion afforded a welcome opportunity for a catch-up, to reminisce about college days and to join together in thanksgiving for their respective ministries.
