Experiences of healthcare chaplaincy sought

Thursday July 31st 2025

The Northern Ireland Healthcare Chaplains’ Association (NIHCA) is the professional body for healthcare chaplains in Northern Ireland and aims to support and to equip healthcare chaplains.

The NIHCA has commissioned Queen’s University Belfast to undertake a study regarding experiences of people who have used healthcare chaplaincy services in Northern Ireland.

The research team is keen to hear from people of different faiths and beliefs who have accessed the healthcare chaplaincy service – this includes patients, family members or someone close to a patient, or an employee of the healthcare setting.

This is a welcomed opportunity to share your views and experiences anonymously.

Please use THIS LINK or QR code displayed here to find out more information about the brief survey and to take part.

Anyone with queries can contact Dr Patricia Carlisle (Lead Researcher, Queen’s University Belfast) at p.carlisle@qub.ac.uk or call 028 9097 1379.
