Belfast Cathedral’s stewards took an enjoyable trip by train to visit St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin, last week.

They were entertained to lunch in the Deanery by Dean William Morton and were shown around St Patrick’s Cathedral by Kelley Bermingham and Kryzel Bonifacio. Many stories were exchanged and ideas shared. Thanks were expressed to those who hosted the group in Dublin, and to Mike Johnston and Garvin Jess for making the arrangements.

A post on the Belfast Cathedral Facebook page reads: “The Cathedral stewards are the unsung heroes of Belfast Cathedral. They welcome and greet people from around the world, sharing their deep knowledge and passion for our magnificent Cathedral.”

Anyone interested in becoming a Cathedral steward should contact garvin@belfastcathedral.org.
