Bibles purchased by St Nicholas and All Saints Parish, Belfast, were recently presented to Fane Street Primary School by the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev George Davison.
The school, which is proud to represent more than 42 nationalities, warmly welcomed the gift during a special assembly.
Addressing pupils and staff, Bishop George spoke about the ‘One Big Story’ of the Bible, a message of God’s love and care that transcends ages and backgrounds. The children listened with interest as he shared how the Bible invites all people to share their lives with God through the Bible’s central theme of hope, love and forgiveness.
The assembly was a memorable occasion for the school community.
