Come and Sing Fauré’s Requiem at Belfast Cathedral

Belfast Cathedral has announced that its second Come and Sing event of 2025 will be Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem Op. 48, described as an immensely moving and poetic setting of the requiem mass text.

This will take place on Sunday November 9, with rehearsals from 4.30pm-7pm and a performance beginning at 7.30pm.

Singers of all vocal parts are welcome to register, rehearsing alongside members of the Cathedral Choir and culminating in the devotional performance directed by Cathedral Organist and Master of Music Jack Wilson.

Dr Derek Collins will be the organist for the evening.
