Enjoying the Blend breakfast.
A special breakfast for parishioners of All Saints’ Antrim, established by the Rev Peter Blake, resumed on February 28 after Peter returned to pastoral duties following a period of leave after surgery and chemotherapy.

Rev Peter Blake conducts an interview during the Blend breakfast.
The bi-monthly ‘Blend’ breakfast is held on the fourth Saturday of the month in The Top of the Town in Antrim. Body, mind and spirit are catered for in the space of an hour and a half, as Blend combines great breakfasts with the opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new parishioners who will become friends.
There is also an opportunity to hear from a parishioner what belonging to All Saints’ means to them.
On February 28, the first Blend gathering since Peter’s return welcomed 48 people.
The vicar of Antrim, the Ven Dr Stephen McBride, said: “It is very special to have Peter back with us as we all enjoy his fun, wit and spiritual sensitivity at the front when interviewing a slightly nervous parishioner!”
