Young People and Mental Health

Jen Christie will help us understand what some of the big topics regarding young people and mental health are and how the Church can meet their needs.

Summer Madness

With summer fast approaching, remember that time is running out to take advantage of early-bird ticket offers for this year’s festival from June 26-30.  If you book your group books before April 1, you can avail of the lowest possible prices.  Book via the Summer Madness app. 

As in previous years, Connor Youth will once again host a sub-camp available for groups to take advantage of.  The sub-camp will provide meals throughout your group’s stay, as well as offering a place where young people can relax, and leaders can help teens grow in Christ through discussions.  For more information and to book your group into the sub-camp, use this LINK. 

There is also an opportunity to help and serve on the sub-camp team.  If you or others in your church could give a few hours to help with meal prep, serving and maintaining the sub-camp, please do get in touch or register here.

Streetreach – August 17-19

We are so excited to take to the streets once again in Summer 2026 as Streetreach returns to the Connor Youth programme. Streetreach is the Diocesan youth mission opportunity that provides a space for young people to step out of their comfort zones through practical service, prayer, evangelism, and running a Kids Club.  

Streetreach provides a space to disciple young people in Connor Diocese by offering a safe environment to develop in mission and evangelism, the opportunity to raise up and develop young leaders for mission and ministry, and a catalyst within parish communities in the diocese to facilitate long-term mission development.  At its heart, Streetreach gives young people an opportunity to serve the local church, and this year we are very excited to partner with St Columba’s, Derryvolgie, to serve the community in this area of Lisburn.
