Training events for youth workers and volunteers
There is still time to book your place on two free training events for youth workers and volunteers coming up in Connor next week.
These take place on Tuesday April 21 in Lisburn Cathedral and at the new Gathered Centre in Coleraine on Thursday April 23, with both events getting underway at 7.30pm.
Johnny Beare from Growing Young Disciples will speak on the topic ‘God’s Heartbeat for the Rising Generation.’
Diocesan Youth Officer Dave Armstrong said: “Equip training events are a way to come together to learn and discuss some key topics that will help build our church families and equip us in serving young people.
“These events are not only for youth workers and volunteers but will be really beneficial to anyone in your church who has a heart for the next generation. This includes church leaders, vestry members, Sunday School teachers, parents, grandparents, and anyone passionate about helping young people find life in Jesus.
