If you fancy popping down the M1 and A1 to Dromore in Co Down this weekend, you will find Dromore Cathedral is hosting a weekend of free events for its Vision Celebration Weekend. 

The timetable is as follows:

Seniors Tea Party – Friday 13th

A Seniors Tea Party with combined schools choir will take place in the Clayton Hall at 2.30pm.

Organ Recital – Friday 13th

Mr Orly Watson will give an organ recital in the Cathedral at 5pm. Everyone very welcome.

Variety Concert – Friday 13th

In the Cathedral Hall at 8pm. Guest artists will include Andi Oakes, The Usual Suspects and Lorraine Jackson.

Free Family Fun Day – Saturday 14th – 11am – 3pm

Fancy Dress, face painting, bouncy castles, puppets, ice cream, tea/coffee and donuts in the Cathedral Hall.

Dromore’s Got Talent – Saturday 14th

In the Cathedral Hall at 7.30 pm. Please come along and enjoy this entertaining evening.

Harvest Celebration and Act of Unity – Sunday 15th

Harvest celebration with Bishop Justin from Maridi Diocese, South Sudan, and a combined schools’ choir. 10.45am

Act of Unity in Dromore Town Square at 1pm followed by refreshments in the Cathedral Hall

Harvest celebration with Bishop Justin followed by supper. 6pm
