American professor lectures at ISE

Prof Alan Wolfe.‘Who’s Afraid of American Religion?’ – a lecture by Prof Alan Wolfe – takes place at the Irish School of Ecumenics on Thursday September 6.

Prof Wolfe is visiting the UK to speak to the British Library, and he will be hosted in Belfast by the US Consulate.   Professor of Political Science, Alan Wolfe is director of the Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life at Boston College.  His most recent books include, Does American Democracy Still Work? (Yale University Press, 2006), and Return to Greatness: How America Lost Its Sense of Purpose and What it Needs to Do to Recover It (Princeton University Press, 2005).

The lecture takes place from 12-1pm. Coffee and biscuits will be available from 11.30am.
