Greenisland Parish is holding a Christmas Tree Festival to celebrate its 60th Anniversary. The Festival hopes to have 60 trees on display – one for each year of the parish.

The theme of the Festival is ‘Light and Life to all he brings’. It will run over four days from December 4-7.

The Festival will be opened on December 4 at 8pm by BBC presenter Claire McCollum and ends on Sunday December 7 at 4.30pm. To conclude the festival, the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, will attend an Advent Carol Service in the parish starting at 6pm.
