Clergy from across Connor Diocese will attend a three day conference in the Slieve Russell Hotel, Co Cavan, organised by the Bishop, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy.

This is the third Clergy Conference to take place in the Slieve Russell – pervious conferences were held in 2009 and 2012.

The speakers at this year’s event are the Rt Rev John Pritchard, former Bishop of Oxford, who retired in October 2014, and Dr Jane Williams. Wife of the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, Jane is Assistant Dean and Tutor in Theology at St Mellitus College.

The conference gets underway at lunchtime on Wednesday November 11 and finishes on Friday November 13.
