Belfast Cathedral’s Good Samaritans Service returns on Sunday February 6, when funds raised by the 2021 Black Santa Sit-out on the steps of St Anne’s are distributed to local charities. The Christmas appeal raised £150,00 and this year 225 organisations will receive a grant.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the service (which had to be held virtually last year) will look a little different, but the charity representatives in attendance will be in the company of special guests Tim McGarry (comedian and actor) and Conor Burns (Minister of State for Northern Ireland). There will be music from the Cathedral Choir and well-known singer Peter Corry.
