Resonance, a new resource developed by Connor Diocese and Down and Dromore Diocese with support from the Church of Ireland Youth Department, will be launched on January 21.
Resonance is a new resource for young people which helps them notice and experience the movement of God in their lives, a learning experience which provides an opportunity for young people to consider who they are and how God views them and their purpose.
This goes beyond the relevance of our faith in our minds to the heart’s acceptance of being known and loved by God. The resource guides young people to consider areas in their lives which they might hide from God or restrict Him from working in.
Resonance invites young people, through biblical reflection and discussion, to explore a full life with God. It encourages them to look at living with God in our personal life, in our relationships with others and in our community.
Clergy, youth leaders and staff are invited to the launch to hear more about this new resource, taking place on Saturday January 21 in T3 Conference Centre, Lisburn, from 10am-12 with tea/coffee and scones provided.
The launch is free to attend and will include training for leaders who would like to use this with their young people, along with copies of the Leaders Guide and Participant’s Journal. The training is essential to access the resource to help equip you use the resource well in your context.
