The Annual Gathering of the Mothers’ Union (MU) for 2022 takes place in St Anne’s Cathedral and the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, over the weekend of September 23/24.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the last two Annual Gatherings were held online, and members from across Ireland are looking forward to getting together in person once again.

The programme begins with two Services of Celebration in St Anne’s Cathedral on September 23 – one at 4.30pm and once at 7pm. The services will be led by the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev George Davison, and the preacher will be the Rt Rev Andrew Forster, Bishop of Derry and Raphoe. Please note, admission to these services is for ticket-holders only.

On Saturday, delegates will meet in the Waterfront Hall conference centre during the day, and on Saturday evening there will be a concert featuring the Clare Chorale from Ballyclare.
